Directive 2004/38/EC — consular fee waived with proof of the relationship and of the EU citizen exercising free-movement rights.
Standard Schengen short-stay fee. Children under 6 are free, ages 6–11 pay a reduced fee, and family members of EU/EEA/Swiss citizens exercising free-movement rights are exempt. Application-centre service fees are charged in addition to the consular fee.
VF Services (UK) Ltd / VFS Global centres in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff accept Lithuanian Schengen applications — the widest UK network of any Baltic state.
Since 1 October 2025 the old EPM portal is retired: applications must be completed in MIGRIS (migracija.lt), and the appointment at the VFS centre is then booked and tracked through your MIGRIS account.
Start in MIGRIS before anything else — the printed MIGRIS application is the form the visa centre expects.
Any guide pointing you at the EPM portal (visa.vrm.lt/epm) is out of date; EPM closed in October 2025.
Your nationality decides whether you need a visa; where you legally live decides where you apply. Applications for Lithuania are handled by its embassy, consulate or visa centre covering your country of residence — you cannot normally apply in a country you are only visiting.
Addresses where applicants of any nationality living in the UK hand in Lithuania visa documents and give biometrics. Applying from elsewhere? Use the official links below to find the Lithuania mission covering your country of residence.
